Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in North America. Those who have been playing for a while are not surprised by this phenomenon.  Since I became president in January 2024 our membership has grown by over 30 members with new people registering weekly.  Looking towards the fall we have found the potential for 11 new groups at the Pavilion (current gym), but we are in need of group leaders.  See section 6 of the constitution to find out what’s involved.

Another volunteer opportunity we have is in the formation of committees to help with the daily operations of the Club.  Some have people already in place but may need some help or a secondary person for backup.  The committees are:

• Systems & Communication (In need of secondary person)
• Equipment & Inventory (Filled)
• Health & Safety (Filled)
• Training & Player Development (Filled)
• Tournaments & Leagues (Open)
• Outdoor Courts (Filled)

Let us know if you are interested in joining a committee.

This Club has the potential to grow and meet the needs of its members.   Please consider whether you can spare some of your time to be a group leader, or if you have the skills necessary to get involved in any of these committees.
