The Bathurst Pickleball Club (BPC) is a volunteer-run club where members pitch in (contribute to) and share in the responsibilities and tasks that are essential to run the club (for example setting up for play, cleaning up and storing equipment after play). The BPC is committed to providing a recreational sports environment where everyone is treated fairly and with respect. Members, including volunteers, are expected to conduct themselves at all times in a manner consistent with the values of the BPC: respect, fairness, integrity, honesty, transparency and safety. The BPC Board of Directors (BoD) has established this Code of Conduct to which all volunteers, members, their guests and visitors of the club must adhere.
Purpose:
To create a positive atmosphere for the BPC, the Code of Conduct will allow members, their guests and club visitors to fully enjoy the benefits of BPC events, services and facilities.
Code of Conduct:
Failure to abide by this Code may result in disciplinary action by the BoD or by group leaders. This may range from a simple discussion of the matter at hand, to a warning, to suspension, to revocation of membership.
